Saturday, 3 October 2026, 19.00 hours. The Arts Society Marina Alta is pleased to invite all to attend our Members' Art Exhibition, to be held at the Blasco Soler Archaelogical & Ethnological Muesuem in historic Old Town, Jávea.
Painting the Light of Jávea – Celebrating 130-year Anniversary of Joaquín Sorolla.
Joaquín Sorolla’s time in Jávea produced some of his most luminous and enduring works. His exploration of light, the Mediterranean Sea, and everyday life continues to resonate today. This exhibition is focused on artists' response to that legacy through their own visual language— through personal interpretations of light, atmosphere, and Mediterranean life.
