About The Event
Zaha Hadid was a star architect, a teacher at many prestigious universities, an artist and a designer. She died at 65, at the peak of her career working on 36 projects. However, her fame came late in her career and for many years she did not get assignments though she won many competitions. She is a woman of extraordinary perseverance and courage who in the end smashed the crystal ceiling of the world of architecture.
"As a woman architect you're always an outsider. It's OK, I like being on the edge.'
