El Sueño Botanical Garden:  Invitations to Members

We invite our members and their partners to enjoy countless plant collections unique in the world, which are divided into Arid, Mediterranean and Tropical gardens at 'The Dream' in Ondara.  Apart from the guided tour, you can visit the cave, fossil and mineral museum, explore the antiques and wine cellar plus enjoy local tapas, wines, exotic seasonal fruits grown in the garden and home-brewed beverages.

Itinerary:  11.00 - 15.00 hrs. 

11.00 - 13.00 hrs.: Guided Tour in two groups by Pedro and Lucrecia Carrasco in easy to follow Spanish/English. (Bring bottled water). 

13.00 -15.00 hrs.: Tapas lunch, including one drink per person (wine, beer, water, soft drinks, tea and coffee). Additonal drinks such as mojitos, cocktails and spirits are available for an extra charge. The tapas menu includes tomato carpaccio, salad, cured meats, cheeses, assorted homemade flatbreads (cocas), Spanish omelette, olives, potatoes, bread and homemade dessert (sweet cocas), vegetarian and gluten-free options, plus a tasting of homemade jams from El Sueño. 

15.00 - 16.00 hrs. An opportunity to revisit the gardens and museum/shop or depart. 

Parking & Facilities: Self-transportation to El Sueño gardens. Parking on site for 10 cars and 20 spaces more available at the exclusive El Sueño parking 200 metres away. Restroom facilities at the house on site and seating available in the gardens. Easy access for private wheelchairs in the gardens but not in the cave or cellar. (One wheelchair is available on site, per request via Linda Cleary: pr@artsocma.org).
