À propos de l'événement
4 March 2026: Edward Hopper: Alienation and Subjugation, by Rosalind Miranda
Edward Hopper is acknowledged as the most important American realist painter in the 20th C. His work demonstrates that realism is not merely a literal or photographic copy of what we see, but an interpretive rendering. At the age of 40, Edward Hopper was a failure who could not sell a painting. His latest painting “Chop Suey” sold for $92 million at Christie’s New York. Join us to learn how that changed!
