Zaha Hadid falleció el 31 de marzo de 2016 a la edad de 65 años. Es una de las arquitectas más emblemáticas del siglo XXI. Los historiadores de la arquitectura reconocen a Zaha Hadid por su pasión por la arquitectura y sus diseños innovadores. Nació en Irak y estableció su hogar en Gran Bretaña. Su reputación fue estelar y gloriosa.

Zaha Hadid was a star architect, a teacher at many prestigious universities, an artist and a designer. She died at 65, at the peak of her career working on 36 projects. However, her fame came late in her career and for many years she did not get assignments though she won many competitions. She is a woman of extraordinary perseverance and courage who in the end smashed the crystal ceiling of the world of architecture.
