César Manrique (1919 - 1992) was an inspirational artist, architect and sculptor. He was part of Spain's contemporary "informalist" movement.
The roots of his abstract and pictorial production lie in Lanzarote's volcanic landscape where he transformed the environment into a non-realist naturalism. A great story of a pioneer for his time, beautifully narrated by Angela.
